Things - DIY - Jar BBQ/Party Cups

If you read my other post you will know I had a BBQ on my birthday and in the BBQ we had a refreshments stand with drink dispensers and jar cups it was very cute indeed!

Things you will need...♡

♥ Jars - Hobbycraft - £10ish
♥ Cute straws - Hobbycraft - £2.99
♥ Ribbon - Hobbycraft - £4.00
♥ Twine - Hobbycraft - £1.00
♥ Scalloped cutter (X cut) - Hobbycraft - £6.00
♥ Card - Hobbycraft - £1ish

paper straws, ribbon, twine, jar, punch, scallop tags, scallop punch

What I did...♡

♥ 1 ♥
I washed the jars and the lids and let them dry.

♥ 2 ♥
Made little circles on the laptop and printed (no need you could just write names).

♥ 3 ♥
Printed the circles on cardboard and then used the scalloped cutter on them.

♥ 4 ♥
I then punched holes in the scallop tags using a pre-historic hand punch (no idea where it cam from sorry) from my dad.

♥ 5 ♥
Cut ribbon for all jars then tied them around the jars finishing with a bow.

♥ 6 ♥
Cut twine for each jar, threaded the scallop tags on then wrapped around the jars concealing the tie at the back of the jar.

Added straws to each one and they were ready to go! Plenty of pictures below...♡

Hauls - Birthday Haul - 21st Birthday

Just over a week ago was my 21st Birthday, so that's why I haven't been on here for a while it's been a manic week or so for me with family visiting and celebrating two Birthdays mine and my mums.

On my actual 21st I had a family BBQ, to celebrate mine and mums Birthdays. We were very lucky that it stayed sunny and was lovely and warm too.

We had a typical BBQ with delicious meat from our local butcher, far far better than supermarket meat. Various cheesecakes for dessert, Birthday cake (even though that ended up being eat the next day) and some refreshing drinks.

Pictures below...♡

Things - DIY - Jar Drinking Cup

I've always thought there's something cute about drinks in jars so I had a look around and places like Amazon sell some plastic versions with lids for about £11ish which is quite expensive for a cup, so I decided I would make one myself.

Things You Will Need...♡

Jar - I used a large Kilner purchased from Dunelm Mill - £2.50
Grommets (4) - Halfords - £1.59
Straws (25) - Hobby Craft - £2.99
Drill

You need to mark the lid like seen below...

Drill through the mark (my Dad kindly did mine), then simply place the grommet in and they're done!

Here's the finished look with a cute chevron baby blue straw so cute!

UPDATE

Here's a summer fruit infused water in my jar (without lid!) it was delicious.

Here it is with a refreshing evening drink.
